We covered the meaning of faith through the arts, using C S Lewis' Narnia book the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and the wonderful film. We explored the wilderness themes of silence and solitude, and issues of Faith and Doubt through Caravaggio's painting of Thomas doubting the Risen Christ, and the Poetry of Malcolm Guide and John Donne, and we then had an inspiring visit to Chichester Cathedral to reflect on various art works there, followed by a short time of prayer. It was a very special time to grow our faith and make new friends around the 5 parishes.
